That's some good advice. I hope I can convince all my friends to get out early enough to tie up together. Otherwise we'll be there early AM solo.

Does anyone have a above arial shot of the lake how this will be setup? I probobly will not get into town until friday so most likely I will be launching sometime in the morning on Saturday. Also can someone tell me how the nearest launch ramp is from my sister's place. I have never been to her place but she said she lives off of Lake Austin in a development called Steiner Ranch somewhere down from the damn from Lake Travis.  Any info will help greatly.

Launch at Mansfield and run 22 miles upstream.  Watch for the stage on your left.  Wink

I think every ramp on Travis will be a zoo, so there's no avoiding it =)

Emerald Pont still have some spots open at the marina. It may be worth it to launch on Friday just to avoid the crowds. As for the t-shirts my buddy went to sail and ski and they did not come in yet. I beleive if you register online you will get a couple of shirts while supplies last.

Yeah, the earlier you get out there, the better I'm sure.

Have you buddy keep an eye on it for us. I'm registered. =)

I am sure Sea Ray is doing all they can to make it a good enough reason to buy a boat. Even better if you already have one!

Don't tell anyone, but the closest ramp on the south side is Briarcliff marina.  You can also launch at Paleface (Pace Bend Park).  They will definately be better than launching at Mansfield.  That is a zoo every weekend.

Not much on the northside nearby.  Lago Vista and Point Venture are all private unless Lago opens up for the weekend which is possible, but stupid on their part.  I live on the water in LV if any news comes up I'll post it.
