Jay, your coordination skills are beyond reproach. I need a few guys like you working for me over here! Good luck on the run. Looks like you guys have a big crowd this year. Jay, you may need to write an OPORD for this one
"OPERATION HIGHLAND THUNDER"
Mission: NLT 120019APR2014L, select members of Team ABF deploy to Lake Travis to synchronize boating season activities, conduct deep lake infiltration maneuvers, reduce excess Class III and execute class I operations.
Endstate: All watercraft and crew fully certified for the 2014 season in a fast, safe and effective manner. All watercraft returned to berthing devices fully mission capable, shiny and with minimal fuel left in the tanks.
I do expect a full AAR to follow....

Haven't seen any yet. Still a little early for them but it's possible. I really wonder if running wide open you'd even see or hear them behind you? Hope I don't find out!
Easy for the guy with the cleanest boat around to say

Roger that, FASTech 6.
Engagement Area (EA) Devil's and EA Garr are designated Free Fire Zones (FFZ). Current Intel reports that enemy activity is high in those areas. The People's Liberation Army of Shiner has joined forces with numerous brigades from the Lonestar Regiment. Remain alert for special operations forces from the Spoetzl, St. Arnold and Live Oak organizations. WMD remains a high likelihood as we've seen indicators of the enemy preparing the launch platforms for the Tito's long range ballistic missile. It is unlikely that the enemy will employ the Deep Eddy warhead, however imported weapons such as the Grey Goose cluster bomb and Coors mines are have been used in the past and are highly likely to be employed by the enemy.

lol, sure is a lot of militarisms being tossed around here
I talked to Bob at Full Throttle to see if he wanted to come out as well. He is going to be trying to fit it into the schedule, but is not hopeful. BUT, he is building a beasty beast of an engine for another Nordic guy, and they are putting it on the dyno Friday. I am gonna take a ride to Spicewood to see that happen for sure. Maybe get some good vid of a 1000hp+ BBC on the engine dyno.

1000hp in a Nordic. Definitely need to see that. I'm optimistic my trusty 496 HO will deliver its normal bank-on-it performance; 63.8 mph at Travis elevation, standard chop.

I walked by SS I2D's slip yesterday after doing some fishing. She's suffering from pollen allergies -- as evidenced by the yellow tint color accent she's acquired this season. Didn't look too intimidating -- so I expect her to be breathing normally in short order.
