New controls
Nov 28th, 2010 at 3:39pm

Looking to see if anyone knows a place around Austin that sells used controls. Fat Dad just e-mailed and said the port shifter is striped so we need to replace it and new ones seem to run anywhere from 275-600 bucks. I am just going to replace the whole control. But the good news is that both motors are running good now. 1 Step closer to the water  Smiley

eBay is a great idea. Try to stay with teleflex or morse. Avoid the cheap crap.

Hopefully it's reasonable quality. I'm definitely finding quality is worth paying for in regards to anything on the water so you don't have to buy it twice (or more).
