A great place to talk about the lake when you aren't on it.

There's a lot of San Antonio lakes I want to narrow it down to several of the most popular.

Canyon Lake - Probably the largest with most marinas and services
Medina Lake - Also good sized and in my opinion the nicest lake in SA
Lake McQueeny - A dammed section of the river home to wake boarders and some skiiers
Lake Dunlop - I'm not positive about the spelling or anything else but I do know it exists
Calaveras Lake - lots of folks fish here
Braunig Lake - same thing to my knowledge primarily fishing lake
Choke Canyon - Big lake with BIG Gators - fishermen love this place
Lake Amistad - down by the border - big lake - don't know much about it
You might check Texas Parks and Wildlife for better descriptions of the lakes
Thanks for keeping us in mind and I'll be at Medina next Saturday

I forgot the question mark. I was hoping someone would post a list like above. I will say that I never have gotten out of this area much when it comes to lakes.

Canyon and Medina Lake will be your 2 most popular lakes. I have spent some time on Mcqueeny and Dunlap. They are small and narrow channels but not alot of traffic. Great to wakeboard but not any party coves.

Thanks for the list! I added those with the exception of Amistad, that's probably further than the audience of this board.
