I am just saying hello from a few states over we have family in Houston and may be moving over there in the next couple of years.  It seems lake Conroe is pretty popular for fast boats?  Any other areas to check out in the Houston area?

That's definitely popular! The boat culture around Kemah and Sea Brook is a blast. Running in the bay is great.
