We are ok. My son is still locked down at daycare, but he is safe. Such a sad state of affairs here. I feel for the families of the innocent victims, may the moron pos shooter rot in hell.

Thanks guys. I feel for the parents and families of the victims. Honestly, this sort of crap makes me so angry. To be killed or injured by a fellow Soldier is disgusting. I had several of my Soldiers present in the building during the 2009 shooting, but by the grace of someone none were hurt. This all took place yesterday in a unit that a good friend of mine belongs to. He happened to have left a bit early and was not there, but were he there, it took place right where he works. So tired of having to live in a place where this happens. Today there are bomb threats in Killeen. We are planning on moving after I retire. Down towards Austin. Looking for a decent plot of land in the country. Let me know if anyone has a lead on so.e land. 3 or more acres would be nice. Need a garage big enough for the boat.

April 19 is right around the corner. Shake down this weekend. Going to Academy right now for a few things.

I agree completely!!  I am tried of hearing about all the shootings and violence.  The fake bomb was just about as stupid as you can get.  I hope they find the person and lock them up.

on the move.  I would recommend the Jonestown, Lago Vista, or Point venture area. Besides Georgetown these are my favorite areas of Austin.  The first three will get you close to travis if not finding a piece of property on the lake.  If travis ever fills up Jonestown has one of the best parks to get on the lake.
