Reply #2 - Sep 14^th, 2013 at 3:01pm I went out this morning to scout dink Pearson and check if it ccould handle the Nordic launch. Answer is no. Looks to me dink is nearly done entirely. Saw two bass boats launch. There' a big hole about 5 feet out. No way to Nordic. Ran down lake to cow Cove. There are many hazards poking up. Very depressing.

Reply #8 - Sep 18^th, 2013 at 10:58pm When I was at Emerald point on Labor Day, they were saying "next week we're moving the courtesy docks further out". They'll probably have to find another launch area too since it was only abt 4ft when I was there. Might be worth a trip out there to scout it out.

Reply #10 - Sep 19^th, 2013 at 5:59pm it was sad driving down 620 and seeing the lake from that spot for the first time in a while. someone could build a house and shop on the sometimes islands. I hope Austin gets a lot of rain the next few days. I also hope the rain we are getting here is going to keep going.
