I went out this morning to scout dink Pearson and check if it ccould handle the Nordic launch. Answer is no. Looks to me dink is nearly done entirely. Saw two bass boats launch. There' a big hole about 5 feet out. No way to Nordic. Ran down lake to cow Cove. There are many hazards poking up. Very depressing.

I have to go to lakeway tomorrow so I will get to see the sad sight first hand. It has been a while since I have been out that way.

Sounds like progress is getting made on my engines. Starting to wonder if I should keep it on the trailer until we get rain. I imagine launching is sketchy anywhere now. Emerald Point looks bad too.

Someone out there must have one of them fancy forklifts to stab the ole girl in. Or maybe a trip to LBJ to stretch her out may be in order.

When I was at Emerald point on Labor Day, they were saying "next week we're moving the courtesy docks further out". They'll probably have to find another launch area too since it was only abt 4ft when I was there. Might be worth a trip out there to scout it out.

I follow them on FB and it looks rough. Their monster machine looks great but I'm sure normal trucks may have issue getting boats out.

it was sad driving down 620 and seeing the lake from that spot for the first time in a while. someone could build a house and shop on the sometimes islands. I hope Austin gets a lot of rain the next few days. I also hope the rain we are getting here is going to keep going.

It's even worse when you go to over the Pedernales, it's been dry so long there are pretty good sized trees growing.
Jay, I didn't think about that...but now that's an option! Maybe we will need a winter LBJ visit

the rains will help our yards, but not sure how much of a dent it will make on the lakes.

already up to .66 5 inches fell in fredricksburg. Wide spread heavy rain up stream. I predict 5 feet in travis
Already got 1 3/4 inches in my gauge in Jonestown this morning.
