I gotta rebuild my stern bench seat base.  Wood structure has gone soft.    I also have a soft spot on my floor where the seat base went rotten.

I'll use 3/4 " Aquatek marine grade plywood from Fine Lumber company.   Put it together with stainless steel screws and staples.   I'll paint it all some resin and maybe glass in the seams.

Cover it with marine carpet from Capitol City Upholstry.

Fingers crossed that my foam is dry.   If dry then I might get new vinyl on my stern seat back.  Ski rope took a notch out of some of the roping a couple of years back (it's the last piece of vinyl I haven't replaced).

I noticed it lwas going soft ast summer and should of got after it last winter.   But I put it off and now I got a soft spot on the floor.    Lesson learned....it's not going away....it's only going to get worse.

1.  Full up annual service; oil change, drive service/alignment, filters, impellers, etc...

2.  Chartplotter install

3.  New trailer bunk carpet

And, of course, off-season boating as much as possible

Hi, new to the forum.
Winter plans are to pull up the carpet, investigate potential moisture trapped in the foam under the floor, and if all is well under there fill any seams, seal the floor and do a skid-proof liner (still investigating this).  If I do find wet foam then i'll pull up the floor and dig the foam out replace any rotted stringers or bulkheads and re-floor and re-foam it.  The boat has really plush carpet everywhere including the ski locker so she doesn't dry out very quickly and this has me worried about potential rot.

Also going to pull the Bravo 3 outdrive and check engine alignment and re-lube the coupler etc.

Lets see, I am going to redo the sunpad.. have honestly thought of going solid white back there versus the green and black stripes that reach about 3,000,000*F. I am going to pull the back bench out and do my stereo install on it, clean up the entire hull really well. Maybe LineX the trailer in white to keep it from getting any rock chips and such. Powder the wheels, and that is about it. I think...

Love that idea!  Can't wait to see the project.  Wonder how much rust prevention you would gain from the Line-x....Tubular trailer or I-beam?

Hey, where is everyone on Winter projects?

Here is an update for me:

Boat is fully serviced and lake tested.  Drives are redone.  Those silly skeg guards are long gone. Boat runs and handles much better than before all the work.

I completed the Chartplotter install.  I removed my passenger guage panel and sent it off of Livorsi as a pattern to have a new piece made to fit the Garmin as a flush mount.  Livorsi also made me a blue bezel ring for the device which cleans up the look quite nicely.

Here are some pics of the parts and the install:

Man! That looks awesome. You have to be so pleased with that.

Right now this is left on my list:
New carpet snaps
Tune up for port engine
Oil change for both
New bumpers (my old Monterey ones don't do it)
New LED lights throughout

Jay, when you get a quote on your sun pad let me know. I HATE the colors on mine.
