A great place to talk about the lake when you aren't on it.

Got my intermittent alarm beeps resolved. We're back to 100%. Best tech at the Lake IMO. Thanks, Jim.

Two things: the IAC sensor was sticking. Cleaning didn't do it, so replaced. Was the intermittent beeps cause, and basically causes the engine to run at 90% available power. The second issue causing the long beep when at higher RPM's, causing an over-rev code (though wasn't over-revving), was the cam sensor. Replaced both. Running like a champ, no more annoying beeps.

David,
It was a pleasure to serve you and spend time with you and your wife. Now that the work is done I look forward to more good times on the lake together.
It was a crank sensor and the IAC.
We should make the Wednesday night thing a regular get together.
Thank you,
Best regards,

Glad to hear it was nothing serious! So do you finally have all your vehicles sorted out?

I think so. I do need to put some new brake pads on the commuter car. Hopefully that will be it for awhile for keeping my mechanical things in tip-top condition.
