Top 100 Greatest Cars of All Time...or really?

Plenty of ones I disagree with on here. I do realize it's a pretty tough list to compile. But seriously, the Nissan Leaf? That's a SIGNIFICANT car, but I don't think anyone is claiming it's a great car.

I'm also a little hurt the Prius is one notch ahead of the Viper Wink

Not sure how a list like this would not include the McLaten F1. Only the first supercar to be constructed with carbon fiber and have it's exhaust shielded with gold foil to reduce heat signature. Nissan Leaf.... That is funny

Outstanding point John, the McLaren F1 was not only a significant car, it was a damn good car! It did what it was supposed to do extremely well. All the reviews say that the Leaf is a pretty comfortable econobox that happens to also be electric. That doesn't really make it a GOOD car. I think I'd be constantly frustrated with the range, I don't think the word I'd be using is GOOD.

I am just glad to see that the Z32 beat out the MarkIV Supra. And the 240Z was pretty far down the list as well. I am a huge Z fan if you all cant tell. The "Zs" on the side of my Nordic are completely coincidental, but make sense for sure.

Hey Jay
Good to see another Z fan. They really changed the possibilities for sports cars in the late 70's and early 80's away from gas guzzling muscle cars (which I admire as well).
To me more importantly the Z cars opened the US market and mind set for a serious Japanese super car. Yes I am talking about the GT-R. Something I would like to own one day. Smiley

I would like to as well. I had a chance to drive one (privately owned) but didnt want to be spoiled by it lol.

This is my old Z, I sure do miss her. I was running 463.9 to the wheels on pump gas when she was in Germany with me. Talk about fun Smiley

...

But then I got too...overzealous, and tried to take over the world with twin GT35Rs, a custom built VG30 longblock, and a TH400 tranny. Got annoyed with the build, sold it all off and bought the Pachanga and partied hard for a summer. Oh well. Wife made me sign a contract that says i can not buy a car for a while, so I will be sinking my time into the Nordic, lol.

I feel your pain.  I gave up racing when my first daughter came along.  the only reason i have the boat is because I traded a pool table for a fishing boat, then traded the fishing boat for old timer.  so she was paid for years ago.  Grin

Thanks guys. I miss her for sure.

I had a boat before I met the wife, so that secured my position in the marine world. We were supposed to have a baby this month actually, but I guess the big guy upstairs had different plans and my baby boy didnt make it. Here's to hoping for next time around. I think the Nordic can sleep me and my wife and baby lol.

Hey Jay.  Love that Z.  I had a 94.  Fun fun car, but it gave me some repair heartburn.  I've got a 370 now -- and love it.

Hey Jay. Enjoy the Nordic while you can. When kids come along you will still have fun but a different kind. Then I am told they grow up and I can have toys again.

I guess I am waiting to see Smiley
