Let's get those blocks drained! I have two to do now. Crap...... Well, one's a PWC, so that makes 1 1/2.

plan to take old timer for a drip today to see if she is if the repacking job I did is a good one. then I will pull the plugs on the motor. I msy even put a heater in the boat to keep it warm in it when the cover is on.

Got it done in the nick of time
I think next year I'm going to leave my engine cover support structure disassembled for the winter so I can easily pull the plugs if I decide to go for a cruise during the winter. On my boat winterizing is super easy, it's just taking everything apart to get to the plugs that's a PITA.

i didn't but between getting it started the other day and the fact that the engine is at an angle it does a good job of draining most of the water by itself. no issue that
i could see.

My landscaping is dead, I suppose that's the biggest sign the season is done

dead landscaping means less time doing yard work and more time for the lake!!

Unfortunately when the landscaping goes dormant, so does the lake! I think next year I'll do things different so I can get on the water a few times. Or buy a boat that's easier to access the plugs.
