so later tonight i got a little time to work on Old Timer. I removed the rear seat, which was easy. five bolts to remove the lower section and two for the back of the seat. after removing the gas tank is right there and easily removable. so I hope tomarrow or monday I will have the whole fuel system out of her then. and maybe the rutter and drive shaft so I can repack the stuffing boxes. here comes the fun lol

She's gonna be in a dozen pieces
You say you love to tinker, sounds like you got your wish.
It will be nice having a reliable boat. After being towed today, I sympathize a lot more lol

i am loving it, not as much as having it on the water but I do enjoy working on it. I do want to have a yaer round boat. nothing more relaxing then an early morning or mid day cruise on travis on a 50-40 degree day. the lake is usually like glass with hardly anyone one it.

I will work on that. I didn't get a chance to work on it today. between taking cassidi to her first day of school running to work and picking up our new laptop (17.3" hp) and then april's battery going dead in the explorer I had a busy day. the only thing I did to the boat was cover it up when it looked like it was about to rain. I will be working on it later this week and I will take pictures then and do another write up on lake boss.

ok I think I found the main problem for the fuel. while pulling the fuel system I drained the tank and found that there is some junk in it. but then I removed the fuel filter and well the picture below sayes it all. I am starting to believe that my original though that Old Timer has been sitting for at least 10 years. she should run great after I put her back together and put on a new filter. I ordered four off ebay for 20 dollars.
