great to hear. the one thing that amazed me watching it from the cliffs was the amount of boats that were constantly moving at the back of it. you would think that they would be anchored with motor off to here the music.

That was a complete nightmare getting out of there and we had a pretty good position for escaping. The water was very bad with all the boats accelerating out. Once I finally got to Jonestown, I've never waited longer to get the boat out of the water. I've never seen so many people so slow at pulling out of the water.

I went by the park on friday and there wasn't that many trailer. but when i went by on saturday all I could say was WOW
I have seen more but it was packed. may have looked like less because they had two ramps open.

Anchord just ouside their hazard bouys, pulled up anchor just after the last song. Water was very rough on the ride back till we hit the arm that Jones Brothers park is located in. Only had to wait for one trailer, as he took up the entire two lane ramp.
Overall it was much less of a pain than I thought it would be.

You were probably the benefactor of good timing. I am sure people in the middle were screwed.

My brother in law did the best thing for me. He rented a 34' foot Formula from Freedom and we had our own captain for the event. We ended up tying to one of the end bouys and as soon as the event was done pulled out and cruised around then went back to the docks. That had to be the most relaxing time as I did not have to take my boat out and I could just sit back and relax and drink.

My brother in law took care of the bill, so no cost to me. I really didn't ask what the rate was but I know it had to be spendy. He got the deal last minute out of some private marina called Rough Hollow I believe. I think they want him to become a member. All in all I had a great time!
