Looking forward to getting back out this weekend!

Went to New Orleans for the first time last weekend for a little vacation. Had a great time checking out all the sights and food in the town. But since I missed a weekend, it feels like forever since I've been on the boat.
I've been out every weekend since February lol.

We usually get to the storage unit by 1030 and Jonestown by 11 or so.

I'll be over in Arkansas Bend on Saturday. My boat, our "club" runabout, and a few skis. Come on by.

Good weekend! Got out and did some wake boarding, some tubing and a lot of floating in the water. Nobody got too sunburnt either, so that's all good. Girlfriend actually backed the boat in to the storage unit for the first time, so that's a good thing.

We had three boats and five jetskis at the bend. Barbecued, had a few cold ones and swam. On the way back in, we broke two jetskis and I scrambled my lower unit. Then I tried to rip the bumper off my suburban with a parking barier towing the club boat. In spite of the carnage, had a great time.
Looking for another boat.... anyone want to buy a slightly crippled Contessa?

Got my eye on an 04 Sea Ray cruiser with twin 5.0s. Tired of working on old boats. She'll be for sale from day one. Tired of getting attached too!

sorry to hear about your mechanical nightmare. If I had money i would be interested in your cruiser but I don't have any extra money so good luck. it may be cheaper to just get an outdrive. you can find them on craigslist. also call my mechanic friend if its a mercrusier he usually has a few used ones. you can also try tahoe boats in manor it is the closest thing I have seen to a junk yard for boats.

Oh man, sorry to hear that Owtlaw. She may be old, but she's still a nice boat so that's too bad. Good luck with the new boat purchase. I bet you are pretty excited about that part.
