Dual Battery Setup

I currently have a dual battery setup with a Perko 1,2,all off switch and two AGM batteries. I refreshed my alt to a 65 amp and upgraded all wires to a larger guage.
I still occassionally forget to swith to 1 or 2 after anchoring for a while and listening to music in the all position.
I'm interested in a battery isolator (diode) or a battery integrator (voltage sensing relay / automatic sensing relay) . Does anyone use one of these?

Easier yet...... Never use the all position. I will start on the 1 position, which is my designated cranking battery and warm up and run on that until I clear the no wake zone then switch to my house battery on 2. I leave it on 2 all day after that, reserving 1 for the unlikely event that 2 runs all the way down. If it does die, I will not switch to 1 unless it's to start the motor. I always get home that way.
I've never had need for a combiner, but I suppose it would eliminate the need to know which bank you ate charging.

Shaka,
You would probably be interested in the Newmar BI-100 12V
Integrator. It would solve the problem of discharging both batteries. Cost is around 120 on the internet.
