Anyone know of a prop repair facility other then Nettles?

I know they do good work, but they are expensive.

It was pretty bad.   I'm sorry I didn't take a pics of the damage.   Long story but I didn't hit a rock or stump.....my wife loaded a knee board that bumped against my trim button while trailering and it lowered the lower unit enough to beat up my prop and skeg.  Drug it maybe 50 yards.

As much as I like to keep my business local, I went ahead and purchased an eBay prop repair.

They did a good job and turned it around in about a week.

Total cost was about $150.

Look at you and your bling bling prop. Smiley Looks good buddy! Starting to look like you won't need another boat for another 15 years.

I know I know.   I can only hope to get a couple more good years out of her.   She's been a great boat.

Is it Saturday yet?   Can't wait to get our there!

Thanks.

Wow, that's super cheap and looks great. I mean I am in no rush to need their services, but good to know where I should go.

How much was Nettles for the same repair?  I get my aluminums done there for $70, and thought that was pretty good.  I guess stainless is more than double?

I had it done by Nettles a couple of years ago for around $200.  Which wasn't too terrible.   However, it was during peak season and it did take 2 plus weeks.

Four ears and SS add to the cost.

Is that extra piece on your skeg because you banged it up?

I drug mine this year because I couldn't get my drive up because of a problem. It's not too bad. I walked around the storage unit and checked out the other skegs, my boat is in good company! I'm not the only one lol

Yes, It's a skeg guard.   Cost about $100.    With skegs and props it's just a matter of time before you ding them...... Cry
