I've noticed we're getting a lot of members that are all over Texas and the south. What do you think of me making a board to encompass all Texas boating?

Suggestions for sub categories:

Regions (North, Central, South)
Fresh
Salt
Boat Yard (Maintenance questions)
Events (Runs, Meet up, Raft up, etc)
Swap Shop/Boat spam

OSO and some of the other big sites have are broken into regions. Probably not a bad way to go. North, South, East, West, Central. I'd take a look at River Dave's for some ideas.

I like it. Keep the good ideas coming!

I whipped together some basic forums. I'll do some more tuning when I get back to Texas from this trip.

I think I'm going to like the software a lot more. If you guys find any glaring bugs or user experience issues let me know. If I need to change software, now is definitely the time! Cheesy

The new site looks good! The state is better than the balloons that was there before. The balloons made it look like a remax site lol. Texas hot boats is not the best site! I posted about hula care on a thread about cleaning a boat and they jumped all over me accusing me of trying to spam their site even though I had been on the site posting for just as long as I have been here.
