Anybody interested in a Fall Fun Run late October?
Just to throw a date out there: Saturday 25 October.

I might be able to make that happen. Any interest in doing it on a different lake?

Good Point. How are the ramps every where, and what might they be in Oct?
Canyon is now 10.2 low, many ramps have closed. #6 is open, Jacobs Creek ($6 fee day use only closes at 6pm) still open, Little Jacobs Creek (no courtesy dock, free) still open.
Everybody continue to quote and add/edit your info.

I do like Canyon but I think it's a little small for a run like this. We'd pretty much be driving in circles with this much horsepower being opened up.

That's true it's a bit small. I've never tried Waco is it small too? Lake Whitney is a very cool lake. What about Houston? Which one is the lake that you can go up Ito the San Jac river?

EVen Belton is larger than Canyon. We are only down 8 feet IIRC. All the ramps are still open

Yep, hear that, and too many ramps closed.
How is Highland ramp looking?
Jay, restaurant / Marina on Belton?
LBJ or Buchanan?

W ago is a nice small lake. I do believe that it is bigger than Georgetown but there is not much there. Waco is long and would be good for speed runs and plenty of places to raft up. Best places are my the twin bridges and there is an arm just around by the dam. There are plenty of nice camping spots.
