Finally on the water

Took the Fountain out today for the first time after rebuilding the gimbals. It was really windy on Travis today. White capping big time.
Launched/retrieved at Highland Lakes w/o any drama.
Cruised up to the dam and back down past the old Carlos & Charlies. Checked out Cypress Creek and DC. I saw more jet skis than boats on the water.
Got her up to 70mph during a quick jaunt and she felt really tight.
Everything went smooth except for the stereo. The head unit wouldn't power up. Wasn't a big deal until I dropped anchor, then it sucked..
Got it fixed after I got back home. Now just need to clean her up good and she'll be ready for the 4th!!! Cheesy
