New to the forum but no newb!!!

Just wanted to take a few to introduce myself. Name is Chris I'm new to the forum but not to boating. I've been boating for about 12 years now 3 1/2 of them have been on Travis. Come along way vessel wise started off on a 70's 16' silver line with a 90hp merc outboard, upgraded from that to a 1988 wellcraft 192 classic with 3.7L merc and alpha, from there to a 1997 Baja Hammer 21' 454mpi and bravo 1 ( which recently sold to my zo6), and I went memorial weekend to pick up the new rig 2001 Nordic 28' Heat with 500efi blue motor and bravo xr. I love the new addition only have had out once so far but stayed the night at point venture beach. Looking forward to meeting you guys and gals, having a few cold ones, and participating in some poker/fun runs!
Cheers, Chris

Welcome. Great boat! I'm a former Lake Travis boater out of San Antonio, now doing some hard time out here on the rock.
The Nordic Navy is growing!

Yeah it seems the Nordic guys are swarming this place. I think they've edged out the Fountain guys. The next spring run is going to be a ABF/Nordic run

Lol so far everyone I've met out here has no idea what a Nordic is... Jay Gadsby I'm the guy that called you about a month ago asking if you still had yours for sale. I was in the market for a Sunny or Nordic and this one was a screaming deal other than the 49 hour straight round trip.

Ahhhh, didn't put two and two together lol. Glad you found a good deal. As you will see, you won't want to let her go now that you got her. Do you slip on Travis? Or trailer. A couple other Nordic guys are talking about a camping trip end of July, not sure what lake though. Sad thing is, we will be the slow guys haha.
