Canyon Lake Water Level Updates
May 22nd, 2014 at 10:10am

Better title than other thread.

http://www.austinboatforums.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1381858042

So looks like the water level will be at 899.75 for the start of the Holiday weekend.

899.75   - 9.25'  as of 5-23-14

Lost basically a .25" so far this month alone, they have also increased the water from 54 cfs to roughly 100 to 110 cfs now.

6 months ago      2013-11-30            901.59      -7.41

1 year ago         2013-05-31              900.04      -8.96

Net GAIN for May      .86 ft which is 10.32 inches!!!!

Net loss since Jan 1st         -.52 ft which is now only a 6 inch loss!!!!!

Last week ends rain was great, not much boating, but better to be rained out than an empty Lake!!

Now that summer is here they do increase the outflow unfortunately.  avg now about 90 - 100cfs.

Well the Lake has been steady at the same level for last four days even though the release rate almost doubled!!!  Now if would just continue to shower everyday things may hold constant for a while.  I know wishful thinking, right?

900.93      -8.07 as of today.

The recent rains are helping, we could round this number to 8, and it would look pretty good!

-8.02 as of today, and release down again!!!!

900.98      909      59 cfs

Will be busy tomorrow for the June mid month update, so here we are a day early:

900.98      909      58 cfs (release rate)      -8.02' low now.

Gained about a 1.25 feet since the Memorial Day rains.

Can't post my spreadsheet, will figure something else out on how to post figures.

Beginning of the month update:

898.00      -11.00

The rain that came through did not add a bunch a water, just helped to stabilize the level for a couple a days.

Fingers crossed for the future predictions of more heavy rain this winter.
