Yet another snag
May 3rd, 2014 at 9:06pm

I was hoping to drop the engs in this week, but hit another snag. 4 of the orig bolts that secure the gimble assys to the transom where rusted pretty bad and I didn't want to re-install them. Ordered them online. The 4 bolts are supposed to be 7/16" by 4.25" long. Here's what I received today:

Really?!?!?

I sent the company an email regarding the wrong parts being delivered and how obvious the mistake was. Got a reply from their president today saying he would ship the correct parts ASAP and he would have a talk with the parts dept.

Kind of refreshing to see the president of a company respond to a complaint regarding $16 worth of parts.

On the downside, hit another snag today when I went to install the exh Y-pipes. Can't find the gaskets I had prev received. This one is all on me. Angry

Looks like I'm delayed for 2 more weeks at least.

C'mon man, you're missing all the great Spring boating without all the traffic Smiley
