Renaming the boat
Mar 27th, 2014 at 6:25pm

We need to rename our boat from the previous owners.  Just simple lettering pretty much.  Any suggestions for businesses that aren't ultra expensive and pretty quick/good with service?

If you need local I have used Larry perez signs & graphics in round rock.  They had great prices.  stop by at lunch told them what I wanted and paid. then picked them up after work.

I have also purchased a few off of ebay that came out great at a great price.

I don't know have you tried to find a virgin lately?  They are getting harder and harder to find over the age of 18.  Grin

Wow, that's quite involved.
What if your boat doesn't have a prev name??
Am I OK to just slap a name on her?

From what I gather, I think you are ok to put a name on it and run. But don't quote me Smiley

My uncle has a yacht he and his wife took for 4 years through the north American rivers and the Caribbean.  He had previously informed me of this ceremony and after his journey told me he met sailors who didn't fall into the superstition.  They confessed to him that they utterly regretted it and will always follow through for the rest of their boating lives.
