I only have 2WD as well, and havent had any issues at all with that ramp. Slow and steady is the name of the game.

Speaking of... I may not be able to make it. More to follow, but I am going in for some pretty extensive foot surgery this week, and will require a bit of rehab following. I will keep you updated, as I definitely want to go.

Now that's not very responsible. Don't you know you have boat events to attend?  Cheesy

Jay, we all know you don't need your feet your throttle a boat, just your hands!!!  If you can't bring your boat, I'm sure I'll have multiple seats open.  Safe surgery and recovery, good luck.

I wouldn't worry about that. We have a great group of guys. We launched my boat one year when I had a 2wd car Smiley Ted (Tyranni) stepped up and put her in the water for me.

I have a ram Diesel 4x4 and would be more than happy to  launch/retrieve anyone if I can make it.  my wife has us doing something that weekend though so I'm trying to sort if I can come run.  I'll let you guys know when I settle if I can make it.

Looking forward to it, pretty sure i'll have it all back together by then. Will be my first time to put in at Travis so i'm a newbie.  I have 4x4 and hope i can find a place to launch.  My boat's stored up in Jonestown area, no water up that way, anybody know what would be the closest/best launch point?

Looks like the Gar is going to open up soon! Very exciting.

Btw the date was just thrown out. If another gets a better turn out, let me know.

dammit!  I want to go!

Any chance of holding the spring run on my lake?  Look, I know the tow is a bit long to get out here, but I promise there is enough water in Lake Pacifica and the ramps are fine...
and....seriously....there is a shortage of real powerboaters out here and these sailboats and fishermen need to hear some Merc muscle passing by...

Big ?? for me. That JR Marine (gimble repair) guy going out of the country for 6 weeks really screwed up my timeline. It will be at least 3 weeks before I can start putting the boat back together.  Sad

With all these new pictures, you make a really convincing argument to make that tow.

This will be my first time doing the spring run.  Just found out about this forum. Really seems to have some cool people on it.  I will be out on my 27 Fastech.  I keep it over at Highland, and last time I was down there in Dec., the ramp looked good.  The water was way above where they poured concrete last summer.  I was using the ramp all the way till the end of the summer, which was at 619' I believe.

You will be in great shape for the run. I just pulled my buddy's 29 fountain out to store it at highland in 2wd.
