Hey guys,
Went out to see the first of the pair running on the dyno today. Sounds fantastic but she's crazy lean so it badly needs a tune. Bob is collecting more data to send off and get it tuned tomorrow.
Here's some pictures from the build.

Here's a video:

Sounds like you would expect...a loud ass V8. Can't really hear the tone with the amount of muffling Bob has for his dyno. Sounds pretty good at idle though, can't wait to hear it in the boat without mufflers.

Looking good. Any idea when the second engine is going on the dyno? You must be getting real anxious now!!! That coat is looking real good now, isn't it!!

Second engine is getting built this week.
If the weather stays this nice I'll be in my board shorts!

Nice! How long does Bob estimate for the tune? I am looking forward to seeing some numbers. Looks like I might need to do some work to the Nordic now to keep up

Not really sure on that. Using someone new that Marine Kinetics who made my cams insisted we use. Likely it will take two or three tries to nail the tune as well.
Yea buddy! You better get to planning! We were very close before. My lean dyno already puts me way ahead of stock.

I have been wanting a supercharger for her. Will have to start hooking to pay for it though. Most 500EFI kits claim 700+

Someone I am sure would pay good monies for a chubby, balding Soldier with a need for speed lol. I have seen a few kits for 3500-4000 used. One right out of a Heat. He saw 90+ with his setup.
I just need to advertise my powder coating more wink wink lol.

I was actually thinking about you doing that for my ugly trailer wheels in the spring. What does 6 14 inch rims run?
