Put the boat in for some standard service….
So far we are rebuilding both drives (again this year). Apparently I love my 6 blade Herings more than my drive gears.

No sooner did I get the fresh engine in, the drive blows out after just 10 hours. Granted two years ago, but still a major expense and PITA. Good luck on the rebuild(s) BADFISH. Capt, have you had yours looked at from a wear stand point? How many hrs are there on the drives? New motors with more torque?

They are off right now and I asked him to go through them before they repaint them. Yeah the additional power could be an issue but I'm usually pretty gentle on them. No hard starts for sure. It's just how these things go, I'm sure they are next. I have redone everything else!

Drives are back together. Now waiting on the new generator end from Westerbeke. Should be all good to go for boating season.

Need the generator for the AC for sure, especially if your sleeping on the boat!!!
Did I say sleeping on or sleeping it off, it is the same, right?

Either way, I believe the one that was sleeping/sleeping it off on the boat when it fried should pay the bill. Lol!
