Let it Rain "II"
Oct 15th, 2013 at 12:27pm

According my daily tracking of lake level, Canyon got roughly a 6 inch bump in the water level. This is good news because at the current release rate, this is 2 weeks of water.  The more back to back rain we get, the greater the run off will be, if the ground is saturated already.

Again "Let it Rain".

Well from a year low of -12.11, the lake has recovered to -11.59.

Come on more rain, please.

The rain has put 2.75 feet of water in Canyon as of this morning. Hoping it will go a little higher.

Now the level is   899.88 /  -9.12 low.

Yesterday          897.21  /      -11.79

Congrats.  That's awesome.  Travis is catching a bit of rise as well.  Was up 6" in a day as reported yesterday.  We'll see what it does with the latest round -- though we missed the heaviest fall.

That's great!!  I wish the rain we had around here would have helped but Waco has barely rose any.

Maybe the annual ABF early spring run could take place at Canyon? Just a thought.

Well, it lasted as long it could, but the Lake is again in decline:  901.65         -7.35

Need those winter rain storms.

Maybe I shouldn't have waterproofed the boat cover.  The repellant might be acting like the force shield around Lake Travis.

After another week of spotty rain the Lake seems to be holding at about the same level, but down just a tad:    901.64      -7.36
