Pics anchoring under the Lake Travis zip lines

Couldn't have asked for a nicer day yesterday. It was a little choppy early in the morning when we were running so that's always fun and it was beautifully calm in the afternoon when we were relaxing.
We anchored in the cove under the zip lines and watched people zipping by. Really pleasant cove, lots more room than Devil's and seemed like a good bunch of boaters. Next time we will anchor a little deeper in to be right under the zip lines. But still pretty cool!

If I had to take a guess I think it is around 27. Very nice Eliminator Daytona.

We really enjoyed that spot all last summer. Very wide, easy to anchor in, lots of cool boaters, beautiful.

It is much more our style than Devil's. Seems a lot more relaxed and a lot less stupidity. All the captains seemed to know what they were doing.
Stimulus, how empty is Cow Creek lately? Anything left?

How far back in there are you guys going? I went up into the cove today, past the little marina on the right and up to where the advertisement for the zip line is, but I was nowhere near being under the zip lines.
I saw some boats further back in the cove but it started getting pretty shallow so I turned around.

It's a great cove that seems to be getting popular every year. Nice to see they finally marked the low water area on the right side as you enter the cove area. Not that it matters now because you can see that little sliver fully exposed. Just hug the left side as you come in and you'll be okay. Past the marina is where the zip liners are.

Jeesh, that is so sad. That's one of the best spots on the lake.
Yes, you are right on the location. For those of you boating up to it, it is all to the left of their sign when you enter the cove.

Saw the Captn' out this weekend. Great looking boat sir. Cypress Creek really is a great place. Only thing they could use is a couple no wake buoys. Couple boaters blew by full speed screwing everyone up. Overall a great weekend. Thanks for the tip about the cove. Gene
