Long time since ive been on here im still working overseas but just bought a new party hut and was home a couple weeks ago and was wondering if there was any one to contact about trees floating in the lake the one we saw was the biggest i have seen yet. LCRA control parts of the lake you could start there.  but I would be amazed if they did anything it.  I believe they consider it hazzard of boating but good luck.

Those would definitely make for a bad day!

I haven't seen any large logs lately since we haven't had any rain to wash them in to the water. Hopefully there aren't too many lurking!

I was asking fat dad an Alex cause the one that we saw was most of a tree and i think next time i will just go pull it to shore but i knew it was a slow weekend and any coherent capt would have seen it...but i can only imagine a holiday weekend when the yahhooos are out could hurt someone.

I saw a pretty big log floating near Lakeway Marina a week ago.  Guessing was about 15' long.  Was about 100' off the shoreline, but was headed toward shore on the float -- so didn't worry about it too much.  I'm definitely keeping my eyes open out there.
