if I had money for a new boat yours would be on my list. I have always loved the older sea rays! the one of first two boats I started to redo for my grandfather was a 1968 sea ray 180 with sand hull and factory black interior. he passed away before I finished it and my uncles gave them to another family friend that just sold them right after he got them I was pissed. the other one was a 1971 starcraft.

Thanks Nathan. Its brokered through a guy down in Austin right now, so if you any of you know someone, wink wink. I cant get a new truck till the boat sells lol.
I love getting my hands dirty, I love working on stuff, but with the Army, I do not have enough time to get all of that stuff done. It took me 3 months to get a SBC built in my garage. (The one in the Pachanga). Someday I will get a project. Maybe when I have kids, I can find a small boat with an outboard to redo for my child
Gotta keep the boating dream alive! But, when I am home, if any of you need some help, let me know. I am down for fun.

Welcome!! You have a fantastic looking Nordic. Toured the Lake Havasu City Nordic factory a few times when I lived in Arizona. Those guys make a great product over there.
Nice shots of Belton. I was stationed at Hood a bunch of years ago(4ID).
Both my my wife and I are active Army as well (I'm at Lackland AFB and she is in Washington DC).
Look forward to meeting you on the lake this Summer.

There are two Active Army Battalions at Lackland. One is an MI Battalion and the other is a IET Battalion. I have the IET Battalion. We have "pre-basic training" Soldiers at the Defense Language Institute-English Language Center (the "other" DLI...the one everyone knows about is the Army run organization in California). We teach English to Soldiers whose first language is not English. They get about 6 months to learn English then ship to Basic. Most make it, those who don't are separated and shipped home
I was at Fort Sam till I landed this gig a few months ago. Good so far.

Ah, ok, good to know. I am actually in the process of putting together a 35L Packet as we speak. Who knows, Lackland may be in the future cards for me

Sounds good. For a 35L, maybe not so much Lackland, but Fort Sam is a possibility. PM me and send me your AKO and I can give you more insight. But most importantly, hurry up and get back to CONUS so you can splash that Nordic! I want to see that West Coast boat on the lake to remind me of my days running around Havasu!

That's a real man there.
I'd like a nice blast around the lake in January after the holidays are over. Sucks being dependent on truck owners though. Especially when most of them are scared of a little cold.
