Hello all, new guy checking in!
Nov 29th, 2011 at 10:02pm

Hey everyone! My name is Jay Gadsby (as seen in the screen name Wink ) I am a new port over from OSO thanks to Evan (Captain YARRRR). I live in the Killeen area with my beautiful wife, currently in the Army, but will be separating in about a year and a half. I am 30 years old, I like long walks on the beach, but only if its to get back to my boat.

The bread and butter of the introduction process, the boat info. I recently upgraded from a 1986 Pachanga to a 2000 Nordic Heat, thanks to my wife wanting something larger, I wanted faster, and we both won on this one lol. She is a 28' with a 500EFI, hydraulic steering, tabs and all. I am in absolute love with her. Runs like a champ, and keeps the smile on my face. Here are some pics guys!

Thanks for looking! I look forward to meeting up with you gents next summer. Oh, did I mention I am stuck in Kuwait till June it seems? This is my 4th deployment, we served the first half in Iraq, now we are in Kuwait till the end. Anyhow, take care all!!

It's tough enough waiting for boating season here, I can only imagine how it is being deployed! Thanks for suffering through it for us.

Great looking boat, can never have too many of those running around here. I'd rather see a bunch of Nordics than Fountains.

If I had to take a guess, Belton pictures?

Thanks for all the well wishes guys. I am glad to be here and loook forward to meeting you all.

The pics are on Belton. That is actual the area they used to call the Flats. It was a nice shallow area to dock off and hang around, but now it is a very large beach lol. Hopefully the water levels all come up soon.

You know it's bad when Belton is getting in bad shape, normally she stays in pretty decent shape compared to the others.

The main areas of the lake are still 50+ feet, but the sides are telling the story right now with all the trees sticking out everywhere, the beaches that are 1/2 mile longer than they used to be, and lets not forget the ramps. I am glad I have a tri-axle trailer, back tire nudged over the end, but it was during launch so we were ok. I am really hoping for some rain.

Hey, the Pachanga is a 22 with a 350. I do believe its pic time for that too. I will have to post it in the classifieds too. (Can I do that?)

She is a good boat, GPSed at 64mph on a good day with just me in there, but still quick. The 350 has been worked over (.060 over, vortec heads, intake, holley carb, all that jazz).

nice boat!!  we never dislike pictures.  I would include the pictures just incase someone gets here by a search engine so they can see the pictures.  so they dont just read and leave,  this way they can look also.

Thanks guys Smiley I am very...anal... about my stuff, OCD some call it. She is not perfect, but she is very clean for a 25 year old boat.
