New to the whole forum thing but was curious. How many of you actually detail your boat yourself versus having it done by someone else.

I just bought my boat and am going to clean it initially myself.
With that said, Im already looking to get someone that does a great job at a reasonable price on site at my dock on Travis

Stryker,
We would really enjoy the chance to be that company. You can visit us at Boatbeautiful.com for past work and pricing! What kind of boat did you buy?

I usually do the up-keep kind of detailing and the big time scrub down, I'll pay someone. I wasn't super excited with my last detail, so I'll try someone new this next go around.

Yarrr,
Who did you use in the past? This industry is pretty finicky in the regards that this time of the year everyone with a mop and bucket consider themselves "detailers". Our company prides themselves on customer satisfaction (the whole reason we have been in business for 3 years with over 200% growth each year in sales). In these three years with over 300 customers served we have had ONLY two callbacks (our first boat and a new guy on his first week).

I usually do mine myself.  I plan to get my kids to help me when we get my coronado done.
