Here is a pic of a 38' Cigarette we recovered on Lake Travis the other day. Hate to see such a pretty boat on the rocks. Though the boat came out like a champ, American made for sure!!!

Nice... Hang Ten Cleaner Wax would take a few of the scratches out. Not sure about any gouges though

I just saw that on Facebook, holy shit man, that's a scary thing to see. What happened to the boat to get in that situation? I imagine most people watch their Cigarette's closer than their kids.

It was just dark and I think the driver wasn't from here. Luckily they weren't hurt. I was amazed at how well the hull stood up to the rocks.

They said they were going about 40 mph. There are several ways to get the boat off, but the hard part is preventing further damage when you get it off.

I can only imagine how upset that owner was. Those bags are a pretty cool solution though. Do they do a pretty good job of preventing much damage?

the interesting part is that when I first saw the picture I thought someone had left their boat too long and the water just went out and it was beached. didn't think it was someone that ran up on the bank. good jod on the recovery.
