Stereo turning on and off

This weekend my deck was turning on and off with no regularity while sitting still. Any ideas on troubleshooting this? My first guess is that I have some wires grounding out. Any other ideas before I start taking things apart?

flaky fuse (inline or the on the back of the radio if there is one), loose ground or power wire. I have also seen speaker wires touching and turning off a deck once before.

Almost always a bad ground. If a boat is having electrical issues, it's a ground.

Yeah, pull the speakers first and if that doesn't work...start tracing the wires.
