Aquapalooza 2010 according to Captain YARRR

Hey everyone,
Here's my pics from Aquapalooza 2010 from my little corner of the event. We were damn near the front and just off to the side. You can see my boat in most of the news coverage of the event which is pretty cool.
I have hundreds, so here's the highlight reel. I'll start off with a little narration.
We headed out at 6 AM and were on the water by 6:30. We caught up with our friends who were towing their custom pontoon party boat. We followed them in at idle speed at were on the mooring lines a little bit after 7 AM.

Now at this point you see it's starting to fill in towards the end of the day. We were having so much fun we didn't take much pictures once the action got started. Met up with In2Deep towards the tail end of Saturday and had a blast with his friends.

In this round we caught the Land Shark Superman in action. That's definitely advertising money going to great use!
Land Shark was handing out all kinds of goodies, flags, shirts, etc. My GF likes her new tank top.

This is the day of the main event and things are really starting to fill in. There are some pictures of In2Deep's Nordic.

I'm sure they will.... as a matter of fact, I think there was an Aquapalooza on Travis either last year or the year before. There are several around the country, but only one signature event, which we got this year.
The continuing buzz from this year's signature event should make next year's local event very well attended. Let's face it... the boaters are the party. The entertainment is pretty much "just there".

That's a fact. I think I had more fun the first day before there was any organized entertainment.

Anchord just down the line from you and did not even know it! I was on the other side of the boat with Cuervo Flag. Was a fun weekend and hope they do something like this again next year.

Yarr sums it up perfectly. It was a complete coincidence we ended up tied-off next to Yarr and his buddies on the Tiki Bar Barge -- which was very cool.
I'd also like to send props to Yarr and the tiki crew for kindly keeping the space open for us overnight Friday after our Friday party - so we just sailed in Saturday morning and tied-up. It was a perfect location.
So, get this...... I'm checking in right now from our shack at Lake of the Ozarks, where I'll be for 10 days. I just heard on the radio that this Saturday -- is LOTO's version of Aquapalooza. So could it be -- I'll be a double-Paloozer? I think this is deserving of some type of trophy -- or at least a financial stipend to offset costs for a liver re-boot -- since it has gotten quite a workout over the past week.
I'll check in from LOTO, after Palooza LOTO-style.

Dang...that's quite the accomplishment, I think one a year was enough for me! I bet you must have an IV of fluids back in your boat LOL
What's the headline event for LOTO?

I believe it's just a lineup of local talent (no "main event"). HQ is Dog Daze, near the entrance to Grand Glaze arm of the lake.
