Should I try an air chair?

I was watching some videos of air chair riding and it looks pretty bad ass. But something about that chair looks like it'll kill you if you mess up.

I wonder what the learning curve is on one of those things.    I see several guys on Lake Austin and they make it look easy.

I'd probably need a good orthopedist.

Everyone makes wake boarding look easy, so I'm sure it's the same thing Smiley

But yes, I could see that blade smacking you in the head and making for a reaaaaally bad day.

Okay good, I'm not the only one who thinks they look dangerous. I think I'll try it but won't go out of my way to ride one.

Definitely not worth buying it and finding out it's a medical bill factory.

If anyone is interested I know a guy in Cedar Park that build his own brand of air chairs. He does national competitions and knows his stuff. I would be happy to share his info if needed. He hits Lake Austin 2-3 times a week.

You are right. Not sure why but can find out why???
Could it be because the water in general is smoother on Lake Austin making it easier for boats to tow.
