A great place to talk about the lake when you aren't on it.

The Texas Intercollegiate Wakeboarding Championships aim for thrills, a few spills, and lots of good works for the Austin Children's Shelter.

Most of the guys are out in RVs at Emma Long park on Lake Austin this week. I was out there one year by coincidence (didn't go to OU weekend and went camping instead) and they were a bunch of good guys. Beware, they do party hard!

That looks like a blast. Is there more info about it somewhere? I want to go do some wake boarding myself this weekend, so I don't want to burn a Saturday. But if they are also doing it on Sunday, then that would be great!

I couldn't find any information about that event, but here's a cool one coming up from 360 Wakeboard:

They are doing that event all this weekend though, so you should be able to check that out!

Those poor wake boarders, it's freaking cold out there (y'know...50). No way we are heading out!
