Yeah watching it come down last night I was feeling good about having my boat on the trailer right now. Glad we got a proper storm finally though.

In2Deep, what's the word out there?

We got a good light show and some rain. No high winds at my house.

Well, quite a storm and aftermath over here.
The Marina took a pretty hard hit.  I don't have many more details beyond what was shown in the clip from the link.  I emailed my friend and GM of the marina yesterday afternoon, and she said only a couple of boat had minor damage -- and all boats are floating and safe and sound.  I walked down last night to take a look from above -- and there is some roof damage to a couple of docks, and it looks like some things got moved around a bit.  The place was crawling with marina crew and workers.  I could see SS I2D, and she looked fine.  The cover looks like it blew forward about half way.  I hope it isn't ripped up (is new from the winter).

I suffered 2 large trees down completely -- one here at my house by the marina, and the other at my other house just down the street that we bought this winter and are remodeling. Also have two other very large limbs twisted and snapped from high up.  One landed on my bass boat trailer.
Since every tree service in Austin is in full mobility mode, I'm in for a few days' wait until I can get attention over here.  All of the tree damage is too big for me to tackle with a chain saw.

Just around the corner from me a house lost half its roof, which flew across the street in two pieces; one piece took out a front block wall of the house across the street, and the other half somehow flew 100' into the air, over trees and over the house across the street, and was deposited into a swimming pool.  The whole street around the corner looks like Armageddon struck.

I can tell you that the winds here were vicious -- and the worst I've experienced since being in Texas.  We rode it out in the lower lever of our house -- since we were under a tornado warning.  A bit scary.  I heard from two people who said the weather service MEASURED the gusts at around 90MPH.  Dang.

No injuries reported.  Just lots of shot nerves.

Glad you came through it safely and with just minor damage.  Bass boat in the water?  Just the trailer took some damage?  Post up some pics if you get a chance, sounds like some pretty big trees and limbs.

Yes, bass boat and I2D are both on lifts at the marina.  It's hard to tell since I haven't been able to get the large tree limb off my bass boat trailer -- but just eyeballing, it doesn't look like it has too much damage.  I'm sure I've got some issues with at least one fender on the trailer.  Hopefully that'll be it. Gotta find a tree guy who can get over here.  Everyone is booked for days.

Wow!!!!!  That looks like some serious damage in those pics, wind damage looks as if it was as strong as a tornado.

Man that sucks! Glad everyone is ok. My wife heard the word tornado and proceeded to stock our walk on closet with water, candles, lamps, blankets, and snacks lol.

glad you all are ok.  I would have came over and we could have cut up that tree quick if I wasn't moving!
