Not performance boat related -- but had my best overall quality day fishing LT yesterday. The top-water bite is happening now, during the mornings. So hit the lake at 6:30A. Amidst the 7 largemouth I caught, 2 were 4 pounds each. Big, explosive strikes on a surface lure. Great fight. Total rush.

I'm sure you did that with your bass boat but it was fun imagining you doing that from the swim step of the Heat!

Sounds like a great time!!!

On a side note I have caught more fish from a ski boat with no fish finder then for one of my fishing boats with a fish finder. :-?

That sounds like a heck of a way to start the day. I bet your freezer is getting stacked.
