Title: done trading cars
Post by nathan on Mar 21st, 2014 at 9:13pm
Well I finally paid off my 2004 ram 1500 and I decided it was time to get April a nice car.  so even though I really wanted to be payment free I decide this was a better idea for our family.

it is a 2013 dodge Grand Caravan Crew.  fully loaded with auto side doors and back door.  uconnect with navigation and voice active.  it only has 27,000 miles on it.  this will be our travel car.

Did you trade your Ram or is this additional?

Nope I still have my ram!  It is not going anywhere.  I sold them our other car.

I wish I had the money.  right now I am contemplating a move back to Cedar Park while still working in Waco.  My kids and wife miss being around family every weekend and so do I from time to time.  this time of year we spend a lot of time in Cedar park for the holidays and birthdays.  I will probably have to miss my niece's birthday this week end because we were just down there for Makayla's birthday.

it is my decision as I would be the one that travels.  I could actually save some money if I go back.  I would get a newer car for me to drive that would get great gas mileage.  something like a Prius.  I would save money in bills even with another car payment and the gas.  we would go back to my parents property where we built our apartment before we came here and finish the add on to make it a 3 bed 2 bath.  no more rent and I would only have an electric bill and tv bill.  but I am not sure if I want to do it just yet.  we would not move until late june so cassidi could finish school.

Well, you gotta do you. My truck is available if you need a hand whenever it may be.

That's tough man...I do that drive a lot for work and I can't imagine doing that daily.

I have done it before for a year, but I enjoy to drive.  the move would be more so we can get back around family.  others wise we spend just about every other weekend from now until the end of summer down there.  but we are still discussing our plan.

when it comes to water lake Waco is easier to get one.  but home more people can come along.

to make the move work money wise I would by a prius to get the best gas mileage.  but since the ram is paid for I would keep it for the weekends
