Title: Anyone boating yet?
Post by Captain YARRR on Feb 27th, 2014 at 8:35am
Hey guys,

Last weekend was the first really great boating weekend of the year. Did anyone else get out and enjoy it?

Took mine out and got in a good little run with In2deep. Good to see the Nordic on the move! Sounding great.

This weekend is looking just as good!

Nope... I am still sitting on my bum... still on crutches when I am not. Have a lot of work I want to do, but can not start till I can walk. Really sucks.

Not yet.  I did get to the lake, however, only to tow the boat home to Houston.  Will finish the interior in the V-berth.

Going to splash on the 28th of March!!!!

I wish but the pontoons are still at my dad's waiting to be welded.

Go get your weld on! Spring is coming!

I wish I could but my dad said that he doesn't trust my welds and wants to do it.  I asked him, so I can weld all day long on a race car but I can't touch the pontoon.  he said you were the only one in the race car, we are all on the boat.  ;D ;D

Aluminum is a whole another animal compared to metal.  Neither one of use have welded aluminum so I am trying to talk him into getting one of your family friends that is a certified welder to do the job.  I guess I will have to wait and see.  I may have to go get my little fishing boat and work on it or our 1966 ford fairlane that we started making into a drag car.

Had some time to splash the boat yesterday.  Amazing day with a 10 mile run offshore, lunch in Waikiki and then some relaxing in Maunalua Bay.

Just the normals this year. With retirement looming over my head, there is an uncertainty that is keeping me from my supercharged happiness. Oh well.

Awesome!  She is gonna call you soon for details.  She mentioned something about having a hot single friend looking for a dude with a boat.... you may want to ask about that ;)

I'm getting off this rock and flying in for Outlaw!  Mrs. G and I are crew on a Sunsation :)
We promise to keep the beer cold and the lines and fenders ready for the card stops.

They can have it.  Me on the other hand, I don't really want to anger Namaka.

That forcast is a warning to me: nalu ai moku (ocean eat boat)
