Title: Nettle Props - painting outdrives
Post by Captain YARRR on Aug 9th, 2013 at 10:27am
What do you guys think of Nettle Props? Has anyone had their outdrives painted by him? I've seen G's before and after, I think he did a great job. Where I am curious is that I have a price quote from Bob at Full Throttle and a ball park from Nettle. They are pretty far off from each other. Bob says it boils down to the materials. But I wanted to see if anyone else had thoughts on it.

I am thinking if the boat isn't used in salt water except for the occasional poker run that paint should be plenty.

but if the price is about the same it would be well worth it.  but you will have to pull the outdrive so they could bake it.  so it may not be worth it in the end.
