Title: picked up a new car for the wife
Post by nathan on Apr 16th, 2013 at 3:42pm
I have grown tried of driving my dad's 93 chevy regular cab Cheyenne truck.  I just don't fit in it.  so I have been looking for something for April to drive so I can have my dodge 1500 back. so I found this.

2001 Chevrolet 1500 suburban LS with the 5.3 vortec.  it has 249,000 miles on it but runs and drives great.  and I was able to get it down to 2500.  great if I do say so myself.  ;) 8-)

the funniest part of this buy is when we were looking at it and deciding to buy it or not, April had a few question. Is this going to be mine? I said yes. the she asked so that means that you cannot sell it right? I said sure. then she said then let's get it but you are not allowed to sell this one because it is mine.   ;D ;D

nathan you are one heck of a horse trader.  i like reading your posts to see what you will do next.  what did you do with the chevy?

I sold the chevy dually and the ford van to purchase a house.  I then started driving my dad's 93 chevy Cheyenne regular cab truck.  we are still working on the house but I am having to try to get my credit up.  at this point with my job and my credit we have decide to keep renting for now and I HATE that little truck.  it is dependable but it is small, uncomfortable, and worst of all my wife will not drive it so I have to drive around with my two daughters in it if she was at work.  I looked for another truck for me but decided to get this for my wife.  worked out great for me too as I get to get back into my 2004 dodge ram 1500 crew cab 8-) that I have owned since it was brand new.  we are going to look for houses again next year when my dodge, my dad's 2003 f250, and my brother's explorer are paid off.  all three are in my name and financed by me.  but stay tuned I have been trying to work a deal to maybe get a cabin cruiser for the pontoon  :-X.

Oh c'mon man, you always sell them off when you are close to getting them on the water!

not done yet I have to get the pontoon on the water first before he will completely consider it.  it is a sea ray that has been in the guy's family since it was new and was on the water earlier this year.  he parked it at his house of two months and when he went to check it again to take it out the fuel pump was out.  other than that and maybe a touch up on the bottom paint it is water ready with a really great interior and cabin.  it is also a mid cabin boat.  if it doesn't go through then when I redo the pontoon I will add an enclosed part with a head because with my girls (wife included) we need one.  ;)
