Title: I have been wheelin and dealin again.

I have been wheelin and dealin again.  but this time with trucks.  I decided to trade my F150 extended cab for a bigger truck.  I believe that I got it covered.  also Evan if your boat needs a ride and I am in town I think I now have you covered!!

so here is the new to me truck. 1999 chevy c3500 crew cab ls dually with a 5.7 v8.

the only external issue is the prior owner had a blow out on the left rear fender.  he did a decent fix and I will fix it some day but it is fine for now.

I am loving this truck!!  I have always wanted one.  I would have perfered a ford but all the fords I found were riden hard and this one was babied.  I did go get it inspected yesterday and figured out that I will have to change places as their new inspector (early 20 year old with more piercings than my truck had lug nuts) has no clue.  I read online that some one said that he failed their car for the side windows having too light of tint.  I thought there is no way he could be that dumb but then he told me what he found on my truck.  first he said that it almost did not pass because he saw moisture under the hood and that a car cannot pass inspection with any leaking fluid.  the he said that it looked like there could be a small exhaust leak after the cats because of the soot and dirt around the connection, but he never started the truck while it was in the bay.  I know I fixed the power steering leak before going and when I got it back to the house I check the exhaust and it did have a leak that I am going to fix.  but telling me that a car cannot have any fluid leaking even a drop for it to pass is just stupid.  I can think of a few trucks that would not be passable,  plus that it took him an hour to inspect my truck and one other car mainly because he was standing around for about the first 30 minutes talking to the oil change guys :-?.
