Nathan wrote up a nice article on The Lake Boss about some tension on Lake Austin between the wake boarders and the fishermen.

Obviously we can't all just get along.

That and the lake is just too damn small for how many people want to act like nobody is around.

It's ashame that happens.   I hadn't noticed it being too bad this year.   Last year was HORRIBLE.   With Travis being so low, it seemed like everyone was hitting Lake Austin.   With the big loud performance boats, the loud music wakeboard boats and the crazy tube pulling family boats doing donuts (me included), I can't imagine the fishing guys having any luck.   Bottom line.....Lake Austin is just too narrow for everyone during a busy weekend.

It always boggles my mind these people who are willing to do water sports in peak traffic times. Seems like such a needless risk.

I think the area is starting to out grow its lakes for the weekends, it's just getting stupid even with both lakes full.
