Title: Makin it rain!
Post by horns98 on Jan 28th, 2010 at 1:01pm
The rain is coming down pretty good today. We already have more water than last year and we are still rising. About 20 feet from the “full” mark.

We might just have a good summer on Travis!

I can only imagine how well it's going to fill after last night's deluge. I couldn't sleep it was coming down so hard. I think my back yard is going to float away with all the water in it.

668 baby! Ten feet in a week. Already off to a bad ass start.

I just went to Jonestown and it looks great! The lake is almost full and it's great seeing the ramp we used last year completely submerged.

Over this past weekend, the sandbar at the bend near The Pier / Roughhollow / Point Venture -- that had turned huge over the summer -- went submerged.  No longer visible.  You can tell that it's just barely underwater.   I'm lovin' the lake rise.  Keep it coming.

We are actually several inches ABOVE average now. How about that? :) That's a big change.
