Who the hell thought it was a good idea to make all the parking spaces Prius sized so they can cram extra spots in these garages?

One of two things will happen:

Someone will park too close and shave some paint off my door getting their fat ass out of their car

OR

Everyone takes up two spaces and completely defeats the purpose of the dumb ass spacing anyway.

Off to the body shop I go! %$#+

Dude, I feel for you. That totally sucks. I have a Pacifica for a company car and spend a lot of time downtown. That thing fills up 110% of those spaces and I'm just waiting for my first key or major ding.

How bad is the estimate?

Supposedly its non collision so that would be a low deductible. Still pisses me off.

I park in those garages a fair bit too and so far I've been lucky. I haven't had my car whacked yet. I am waiting for it. Just wait for them to start making Smart car sized spaces ugh.

not lucky anymore. Just picked up a scratch across my entire rear quarter panel. Ugh. Time to get the buffing compound out.

Oh man, that's too bad. Sorry to hear that. Let me know if you want some help, I'd be happy to help out with it. I've had a lot of scratches on a lot of sports cars, so I have some skill with it.

Of course if your vehicle "does" fit into a spot... It's nearly impossible to back out with adequate room.

Nothing wrong with a Prius. It's just that not everyone has one and all parking garage spots are that size it seems like.
